I have chosen comic strip as the medium as it is easy to understand and entertaining. I believe that learning something can be fun and not always boring and through a comic strip, it has it agenda and it will allow the reader to think about the message this comic strip has to portray. A comic strip will be appealing to people from eighteen to twenty-eight of age as they will be those that are likely to be in contact with ex-convicts. The comic strip will persuade the audience through the central route of persuasion as the comic strip`s content will challenge the reader`s stereotype. At the end of the comic, a tagline is shown where it becomes a food for thought, allowing the audience to think about how true their stereotypes are. The channel I have chosen to use will be BlogSpot as there are many users of age similar to my target audience and with the power of re-blogging; it becomes a very good platform to show this image. The main message of this comic strip is to allow audience to understand that the prejudice and stereotype that our society have against ex-convicts are not proven and that we should not judge them by their status of being once convicted but rather through daily experiences with them to have a better understanding of them.
